Weekends

Every Saturday and Sunday afternoon the Stone Door Yoga Retreat conducts workshops on various aspects of yoga and related subjects. Our Weekends are designed as mini courses around a specific topic, it’s best to come for the entire weekend program to obtain maximum benefit, but if time doesn’t permit, come for a class, a day, or a satsang!

Yoga Vacations

Need a vacation that will help you recharge rather than leave you depleted? Experience the peace and vitality that a visit to the Yoga Retreat can bring. Practice the Five points of yoga to bring supreme health to body mind and spirit. Enjoy great yoga classes, healthy food, pure air, mediation and relaxation. Attend an informative afternoon workshop or go for a scenic hike in the state park nearby.

Yoga Retreats

Get away for a yoga retreat. Practice yoga in a traditional ashram environment and train the way yogis have for thousands of years. Wake up for early morning satsang, practice asana and pranayama twice daily. Attend afternoon workshops to deepen your understanding and knowledge. Use the intellect, heart and hand to evolve using the four paths of yoga.

6:00 meditation 12:00 - 3:30 workshops
8:00 yoga class 4:00 yoga class
10:00 brunch 6:00 dinner

The SDYR, is affiliated with the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers, a non-profit, worldwide network of ashrams and  centers founded by Swami Vishnudevanada to spread the teachings of yoga.  Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers have Ashrams in Val Morin, Canada; Woodbourne, NY; Grass Valley, CA; Paradise Island, Bahamas; Neyar Dam, India, and Netala, India, and centers in India, South America, and most major cities in Europe and North America.  They have affiliated teachers worldwide. Dattatreya and Sita Lakshmi are affiliated teachers with Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers, and are disciples of Swami Vishnudevananda.
